Total waste of time and money. I read the reviews when my friend told me that she had made a booking in this place and it sounded wonderful. however the food was average. In case you are a vegetarian and go for a Corn starter - I request you to stay away from it. Its absolutely worthless. We had quite friendly waiters but they seemed to be busy with a lot of people milling. The main course was ok but i feel its over pricey. It was packed at 7.00 (for being middle of the week) but i just dont see the point why people write good reviews about this place.
If you want some good thai food - stay away from this place.

The food, service and atmosphere are always perfect when i visit.
I only found out the other day that Awana Malaysian restaurant is their sister restaurant. That is not a surprise as Awana is another fantastic restaurant!
All the dishes are presented so well at Mango Tree. The food was cooked to perfection and left us all very impressed.
I will definitely be returning again soon!
I went to the Mango Tree on last Thursday. And we had a mixed skewers and Scallops for starter. The scallops were out of this world, although the portion was rather small. For mains we had the Pad Thai Chicken and Lamb Massaman Shanks. The shanks were lovely but the Pad Thai okay. The meal is always nice here but we felt a bit too rushed during the whole experience as we were only allowed a 2 hour window for our meal due to a view card offer. The waiters were too attentive which didn't allow for conversations during the meals etc. But these are small issues as the restaurant itself is beautiful and so is the food.
Way over rated. The place has a good reputation but doesn't live up to expectations. My criticisms. 1) After a friendly greeting, the service goes down hill. Throughtout the meal the service was perfunctory and by the time of settling the bill the waitress couldn't even communicate. I've had better service in McDonalds. 2) Tables are cramped together and the place is too noisy to have a decent conversation. 3) Food was ok but not worth the price. I will not return and would never recommend this to a friend. I give two stars but have could easily slip to one. Over priced, impersonal and mediocre is my summary.
Went to Mango Tree restaurant last night and all i can say is....WOW! The food to the service to the decor was all on top form. Made an online reservation with no hassle what so ever when turning up. If i had to find one negative point, it would be that it is quite expensive but it's definitely the worth the extra i say.
We booked for 8.30pm and received a confirmation email. On arrival they ushered us to the bar where they asked us to wait. They collected us twice to take us to a table and then walked us back to the bar again saying it had been a mistake. and there was no table. 45 minutes later we still didn't have a table, when I complained, the "table coordinator" just flapped around saying sorry and that we would TRY.
When we finally sat down 50 minutes late, it then took us 45 minutes to get a waiter/waitress to take our food order, and to do so I had to stand up and walk over to them to get their attention. Admittedly the waitress I finally got was very sweet and apologetic saying coffee and tea afterwards would be complimentary. Unfortunately however, at the end of the meal they forgot and it was so late by then we just wanted to leave. Food did not make up for bad service and was very mediocre and overpriced.
the food, atmosphere and service was stunning! thoroughly enjoyed the whole meal and my 2 friends and i could not make one complaint. i want to go back again very soon. thai is my favourite cuisine!
