Food really good, but very expensive and i don't like the 12.5% service charge on the bill; whether you like it or not! I suppose it's good for special occasions, but not an everyday kind of restaurant.

Had dinenr here on Saturday night and it was delicious. The duck spring rolls were light and filled with more meat than veg (which I find doesn't usually happen). And my sea bream was unbeleivably delicate. Service was friendly and efficient without being intrusive.

Champagne by the glass was nice & creamy, not the sharp cava that's normally served up. Merlot by the glass was lovely too.

Will definitely be going back!

Mangosteen has the best Thai/Vietnamese food I have eaten outside Thailand. Really fresh ingredients, wonderful use of herbs and spices, innovative dishes, excellent service. I can't recommend this place highly enough. It really is worth a visit to the area, a very short walk from Gipsy Hill train station (as is Alchemy next door!). Also remarkably good value. Book now!
