A trip to Manicomio was one we were really looking forward as both me and my girlfriend love Italian food. We knew it wouldn't be cheap but we don't get to go out much so thought we'd treat ourselves.


The problem was, it didn't feel like a treat. The food was nice but I had expected to be blown away, as opposed to feeling indifferent, like I did.


I'm not sure if my expectations were too high but Manicomio seems to be much ado about nothing.

I came to Manicomio last week, as me and my flatmates love Italian food. The food at
Manicomio wasn't the problem though - it was the waiters. From the moment we walked through the door they wouldn't leave us alone! I'm all for good service but this place is unbelievable - we were scared to start eating in case someone asked us a question while our mouths were full!
