We were greeted warmly by our hosts. On arrival we supped on a couple of cold suds, Corona of course. As an aperitif, soon the Margaritas blessed the table; well this is a tale that needs reciting. They possessed a warming sensation much like a lama ponchos provides in the cold nights in the Chihuahuan Desert. They were as sharp as the coccobolo knife of the most lethal Mexican warrior. Enjoyed a greater citric fire than a Jason orange and Keith lemon boxing match. The food perhaps surpassed the beverages. The chicken was succulent, the fajitas authentic and flawless in appearance and taste and the ribs tender and juicier than the largest of Latino derrieres. The only minor mar was the chilli beef nachos which while pleasant and plentiful were tainted by the fact that a vegetarian would not have sent them back such was scarcity the of the beef. All in all a fantastic evening and well worth a regular visit. Bueno, bueno Senors.

We went to Margarita Loca tonight for a friends birthday & didn't have the best experience.

Firstly the waitrer/s didn't seem like they spoke enough english to understand that my husband wanted a beer & when asked for a 'Sol' they bought him the salt!

Secondly, we sat there for almost an hour before our order was taken & when the food did arrive it was less then adaquate. I ordered a chilli burger & normally when this is ordered you expect chili to spill out of the bun of the home made burger- no such luck here.

The burger was like a patty you would get in macdonalds & the chilli hung to the top of the bun & had absolutely no flavour at all. I basicaly paid 15 quid for a glorified madonalds!!

Thirdly, I ordered chicken nuggets & chips for my children & they couldn't have come any dried without the usual condiments which accompany childrens meals. And lastly the woo woo cocktail my friend ordered seemed like juice & for 6 quid that's not want you want!We were also sat under a speaker which was not what you want when your tryin to talk in a group of 9 & the consistant ringing from the kitchen when the food was ready was enough to make you scream!

However my husbands steak for lovely-but you can't really go wrong with that can you!All in all not a good experience, could do better!

Yeah, Margarita Loca is a lot of fun. Don't expect the best food in the world but it is more than adequate and anyway, the emphasis is on an enjoyable experience and on that count I can find no fault. Margarita Loca made our evening with friends a lot of fun indeed.
