Good food, very bad service bordering on the rudeness so will definetely not return to this restaurant even if I live meters away from it!

pretty good for takeaways. i phoned onthe tube and said i'd collect in 10 minute and it was there

I had read some really good reviews, but was disappointed tonight when the food was distinctly average and as a result overpriced.

The service was clockwork but we felt rushed; we didn't order a huge amount and we were pressured to have everything together and as a result starters were served after the main course.

We might give it another go, but will need to be significantly better to get a recommendation.

Maxim has a lovely atmosphere with very attentive staff. The menu allows lots of choice and all the food we had was really tasty.

As Chinese restaurants go, Maxim is a pretty good one.
