I decided to go to this restaurant again and I'm so glad that I did! They've recently expanded their menu and it's all delicious. I definitely like the calamari chunks and chicken gyoza. I think I'll take the kids here soon.
Be very careful if you use your credit card in this restaurant.
I checked my credit card statement and realised they have billed my card twice.
My wife was a customer there. She told me the waiter swiped the card once, told her it did not work and there was no paper receipt. He asked to swipe her credit card again.
Had I not checked my statement, we would have been billed twice.
Probably safer to use cash in this restaurant.

We had a take away from here and would definitely not recommend it unfortunately. The Edamame beans were over cooked, the tempura was ok but nothing special, the Gyozas were not cooked enough and the duck noodles were incredibly disappointing, with the duck over cooked and it seemed to be cooked in a vinegary sauce that just didn't compliment it at all and left us feeling really quite sick. Such a shame and hope they up their game soon.
I love the seared beef and spicy edamame's to start and then the beef noodles which have a really good slightly spicy sauce. My girlfriend normally goes for a couple of plates of sushi, a salad and if she's really hungry some vegetable dumplings.
Then she has chocolate ice cream and I have their strawberry cheesecake.
When I'm out lunching with the girls we eat here as we can grab some sushi and know we’re not piling on the pounds, especially with our summer hol's coming up. There salads are really good too and so are their dumplings! My favourites are the California Roll uramaki and the New York Roll futomaki.
I love it when I’m working in this part of London as MeLoveSushi offers great food which is also healthy and provides a quick service if your on your lunchbreak, try the temaki (which can be eaten on the go) and they’re salads they’re really tasty! If it's cold and you need warming up the miso soup is really tasty too.
Try their duck noodles or prawn and crab rice and a side of their skewers if you want something hot or if you fancy sushi the avocado hosomaki, california uramaki roll and sea bass nigiri are all good!
Great place to visit if you are new to sushi as they have a wide range to choose from but they also have a range of cooked dishes too. If you are trying the sushi then my favourite is the salmon and avocado seaweed cone.
I like the way that you order here, you queue up and place your order and then find a table and your order is bought to you when it’s ready. It seems to work well during busy periods. The staff are always helpful and the sushi is very good and reasonably priced.
The kids love this place they like the fact they can eat the sushi with their fingers and they also adore the chicken noodles and dumplings. I love the teriyaki salmon and we think that it’s a great social place to go as a family.
I really like this places sushi but I love the fact that they also do other food, the grilled beef and rice is really good, but if your wanting sushi the spicy tuna seaweed cone is good.
I was never sure whether to try sushi because I had images of lots of raw fish everywhere and i'm not a big seafood fan but I’m glad I did because it’s really tasty. The staff here are helpful and friendly and there is a good range on the menu which I think covers everyone’s tastes, i cheated a bit though and ordered a chicken curry to go with the sushi and that was goo too!
With summer on it’s way I’ve been looking for healthy lunches and sushi fits the bill. I either have the seaweed rolls the New York are my fav or the sushi cone filled with salmon.
Even my mum liked it when I took her and she’d never tried sushi before but agreed to go cos she likes noodles and she knew they did noodle bowls, we’re going to go back next time we’re in the area.
I stumbled into Me Love Sushi after a recommendation from a friend after a tiring day of shopping looking for something quick, easy and tasty. I’m always looking for places to eat, which offer a quick meal but don’t serve burgers! So I thought that sushi would be ideal. You order at the counter and then sit at a table for your meal to be brought to you once it’s prepared. Food was good and staff were friendly, def recommend it.
I tried to order food this evening... The website states that restaurant is open from 11am-11pm.
After looking at the time we thought it would be fine to order. Our order goes through saying it will be delivered within the next hour.
The order clearly says that it was processed at 10.55pm. I get a call from a girl at Me Love Sushi saying the order cant go through as the order is after 11pm and there will be a cheque issued to refund the order.
We checked the time and saw it was within the 11pm cut off time. We called back & spoke to the "manager" he informed us that the girl did not say "that there would be a cheque issued" and the money would be refunded.
So he is calling us a liar about what the girl said. His reason was "chefs had already gone home".
Still worried about refund of the order. Advice to MeLoveSushi - sort out your website so it says last orders before 10.30pm. DO SOME CUSTOMER TRAINING!
The restaurant has a fun atmosphere if you fancy a good night out combined with eating! They also have a bar which is a good way to start or end the night.
All the food i have tried here has always been really good, the staff are helpful and will recommend dishes if you have never tried sushi before. For me i have to have a couple of prawn sushi's and a salad when i lunch here and i leave knowing i haven't piled on the pounds!
I love Asian food and i love this place. Depending on what mood i'm in, depends on if i have a couple of plates of sushi, i love any with prawns!
teamed with their gorgeous crunchy salad. Or a bowl of noodles and the chicken wings, which are grilled and not fried like in many places.
If its a cold winters day the miso soup is also really good for warming you up.
I've recommend it to everyone i know, well worth a visit.
This place is cool, it's easy to find as it's close to the tube. I always love going here the food is always first class and the staff are friendly.
I normally have either one of the rice or noodle dishes, my favourite ones are the ones with chicken or beef.
I normally team them with a plate of sushi, the small prawn seaweed rolls are very good, or the dumplings or the chicken wings.
They are all really good and prepared freshly when you all, so no luke warm food.
As everything is sooooom good here i always have trouble deciding!
I really like the sushi here, there is a lot of different types to choose from, with different fillings, so you should find something that you like.
I normally order a couple of different plates (the small prawn seaweed rolls are v. good!), along with there salad or miso soup if its cold.
I always leave feeling full & healthy! And if your in a rush you can get in and out quickly without having to resort to other types of "fast food"
The food here is good, i'd never tried sushi before a friend suggested we have lunch here.
Cos there was a group of us we all ordered a different plate & then shared what we had.
My fav's were the salmon or prawn ones with the fish on top of the rice, or the squares wrapped in seaweed.
I went back again and try one of the rice dishes, with chicken, that was really good too.
Next time i go i want to try a noodle bowl, as the people next to me had one & it looked really good.
Worth giving it a try.
Been here a few times with some mates and the food's great. We normally have some sushi and then either noodles or rice dishes.
Last time i went i tried the chicken curry and it was fab!
The Japanese beer's good too!
I like to stay in shape, and Sushi is a great option. Their salads are always fresh, and I like their dressings.
If I am looking for something more filling, then I'll have some sushi too, which I love, and is really nice here.
The drinks are a bit pricey, but the food is all really good value. Hubby loves the Donburi bowls and tempura.
If you love Japanese food, fast food, and good value food then you should check out this place.
Nice food and good value. The menu looks pretty good if you like Sushi but we go for the noodle bowls. Can't get much scrummier than a big bowl of hot nooodles on a cold day.
I stumbled into Me Love Sushi after a tiring day of doing all the normal touristy stuff, and I just wanted something quick, easy and tasty.
I tend to avoid the burger fast food joints - hate that artery clogging grease and killer aftertaste of MSGs.
Sushi was ideal. Although I had spied the take away Me Love Sushi locations before, this one is a sit down restaurant. You order at the counter - if you can manage to make a decision with such a huge menu - and then sit at a table for your meal to be brought to you once its prepared.
I started with Chicken Yakitori skewers, which were lovely and sticky sweet - just the way they should be, and then moved on to salmon noodles, which was really to die for.
I love food with loads of flavor but not too spicy, and this was just right. The salmon had been pan fried so it had that lovely brown seared texture.
Mmmm.I would normally have chosen something like their salmon or crispy duck Temakai, which is like a big cone of seaweed stuffed with rice and other ingredients, or maybe their Sashimi platter which is a big plate of loads of sushi, but it was so cold the day I visited I need something hot to warm me up.
If you are visiting London and are looking for a tasty and healthy meal then I would highly recommend stopping in to Me Love Sushi. The place is really friendly, with a bright interior and funky decor and it is usually filled with quite a varied mix of people.
Me Love Sushi is a bright and fun dining experience. This restaurant version of their brand adds a more formal dining experience to their take away locations, but has the same huge range of food. There is no table service, rather dishes are ordered at the counter, where they are prepared from fresh ingredients and then brought to where you are sitting. If you have never eaten Japanese before, try asking the staff for recommendations - they have always been more than helpful when I have visited with my wife.
All dishes are very affordable considering the generous portion size and exceptional quality, so you can comfortably order several to share with your party.Despite promising myself to try something new the next time I visit, I always end up ordering the Prawn Tempura, which is about as good as it gets: light and tasty batter over massive, juicy king prawns. At £8 for four, it is a little pricey, but well worth it.
I loved this fun restaurant. The food and service were excellent, and it was good value for money too. I had the sashimi and nigiri and the fish had a lot more flavour than I have had in other Japanese restaurants in London.
The atmosphere was friendly and casual, although the bar upstairs has a more elegant feel. The sakitini cocktails are worth a try, as something a little out of the ordinary.
All in all, this makes a great location for a date or a romantic meal, and I will definately be visiting again.
Well, it's obvious that the last two reviewers are not Japanese food afficionados. Not that you have to be.I'm afraid I don't like the place at all. The sushi is OK, and most of the food passes muster. However, it is formulaic, Anglicised Japanese food. For instance, I ordered the king prawn tempura. It wasn't cheap and basically just a few big prawns in batter, not authentic light tempura batter.
But worse than that, it comes with sort of pink mayonnaise, a kind of cocktail sauce. When I asked for "dipping sauce", which is what tempura always comes with in normal Japanese restaurants, I was told there wasn't any! The gall of these people! Also, the nori seaweed on the hand rolls was so coarse that my partner couldn't finish them. And he's not fussy like me!
There are some wonderful Japanese restaurants in Swiss Cottage and West Hampstead, what a shame if these people now get the business.
Wow!, what a place.
Me and my girlfriend visited Me Love Sushi a few weeks ago and as we had both never tried Sushi before, we found it an absolute delight. The food was so fresh and moresome. Then we found out there was an upstairs bar. It was so cool, really modern and the cocktails are wicked.
Will definatly go again and again. 4/5. maybe 5/5 after a few Sakis
Me Love Sushi was a pleasant, well decorated, friendly staffed place. We went to the upstairs cocktail bar and had drinks and some snacks. The food was good and the drinks were excellent. I didn't give it 5 stars because we didn't eat downstairs so I can't vouch for it. The upstairs was very nice and seemed like it would be good for groups or parties.
