Held a party at Metro last Saturday & couldn't have been happier with our choice of venue. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive & accommodating and had made the venue look fantastic, letting us have the whole garden to ourselves & sending up a private marquee in case of bad weather. The food was great & the wine kept on coming!

The price was very fair, and no hire charge and a much lower minimum than most places in the area, made it a reasonable evening. I'd definitely recommend Metro for a party, special occasion or indeed any other time when you want great food in nice surroundings.

Went to Metro on Sunday for the roast. I had a fantastic time, the service was fantastic and everything was taken care of. I took my girlfriend there and we were lucky to get one the tables round the back. Metro serve one the very best Roasts in Clapham. The food is perfectly cooked and very well presented, one thing I also noticed was that they had a very good wine list to go with the menu.

In the evening they turned on the fairy lights and it feels like your on holiday in Spain, its a very romantic setting, perfect for a dinner date! Highly recommended.

I moved to clapham in the new year and Metro was on my list to visit due to the tempting allure of the place and friends recommendations. I attended with a fussy girlfriend in tow and had a most wonderful time. Service was good friendly and in detail. The wine list was varied and the food delicious. We sat in the magical fairy lit garden and for a moment i was whisked away to my favorite restaurant in Sardinia.. My normally fussy girlfriend smiled all night...thank-you for the experience..

Awarded the Five Stars for the Sunday roast alone. It really is the best I have had in my five years in London (for around about a tenner anyway). The female staff are always very friendly and chatty and it has a nice cosy atmosphere. It always seems a bit criminally empty though. It is definitely worth going for the roast, you certainly won't have better in Clapham.
