The service was outstanding - very friendly without being too much.

The food was absolutely amazing - the rabbit with wet polenta was possibly one of the best dishes I have ever tasted, and I have eaten many.

The sorbets were so full or flavour - the highlight being the vibrant green, sweet basil.

The only negative would be that the lighting was too bright.

Can not wait to go back, and this has restaurant has now pushed Claridge's into second place for me.

"The service was outstanding"... This, unlike the food I find very hard to swallow. Last night I had dinner there and although the food was very nice, the service was one of the wost I have endured for a long time. The staff have this big sense of self-grandeur, to the point where my entire (wealthy) family felt like walking out half way through our meal. It's a cold unfriendly environment, and all the servers have sticks up their respective asses. Needles to say we wont be going back.

The York & Albany on the other hand, is a totally different story. They understand hospitality and I would happily recommend it.

Angela Hartnett is back and what an entrance she has made. Murano is faultless. A stunning resturant, chic without pretension. The food is sublime. The ingredients are of the highest quality and are simply and perfectly cooked. A very British take on italian classics. The carnaroli risotto is the type of risotto you hope and pray for but never receive and the lamb a stunner. Book early to avoid disappointment.
