We went to their special Greek night a few weeks ago and had the most amazing evening! The food and atmosphere was marvellous and the belly dancer was stunning and a stunning dancer---my husband sat open mouthed and just dribbled!we are Egyptian so we know what dancing is and we were not surprised to find out she is Middle eastern too!We had a great night with lovely entertainment.
A large group of us went on New Years Eve an had an absoultely great night!
The food was very tasty and the portions were generous.
The entertainment was fun and most importantly the service was excellent!
They really go out of their way to make their customers have a great night!
We will be back soon!
I went to this restaurant last night with my wife and daughter with preconceived ideas. In fact i had an amazing time, the food was superb, staff very friendly, i reccomend this place, cant wait to go back
This is an amazing restaurant! The customer service is of high quality and the food was amazing! The meze we ordered was really filling and a great value for money! This is definitely on my "must go" list of restaurant. I recommend it to everyone!
Food was good and authentic although we had to take from the main course menu our third vegetarian choice as our first two were no longer cooked as we were told demand for them didn't warrant providing the listed Yemisti or Vegetable Mousaka. Service was friendly and attentive in attractive surroundings but the whole experience was negated by the very loud non atmospheric music. Conversation was impossible. We asked for the music to be turned down on two occasions which it was but within a few minutes it was up to full volume again. A great shame. Overall a promising venue spoiled by the loud music.
This restaurant is close to my office at London South Bank University so I'll be going again. in fact, I enjoyed it so much I'd be going again even if it wasn't close.
As I've several Cypriot friends, I have had plenty of exposure to Greek food and this was up with the best. We thought it was a match for the famous Vrisaki of Wood Green.
We had pork and lamb souvlaki dishes, both were cooked very well and very tasty. Served with very nice salads we had a very good dinner at a reasonable price.
Staff were attentive and the host, Leonidas, charming.

service quick, busy. ordered mezze between 4 people, lots of dips but not enough pitta bread. the amount was the same as when we had a mezze for 2. they forgot the chips, which came quickly but were hard. the puddings were nice they do give tap water without the usual grumbles.
the staff did give bad advice about parking locally and we got a ticket - best not to give any advice. otherwise a okay evening.
our first visit last night and wont be the last great night and friendly atmosphere. staff wonderful also food and plenty of it.
absolutely excellent, have been there a number of times and food and service is amazing. Highly recommended
We have visited my big fat Greek twice in the past month and were amazed by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the service. Portions are big, and the meze is massive. But that is not a complaint at all, just be sure to wear stretchy trousers as they don't scrimp on portion size! Wine is very well priced and very tasty. If only they put on a rival disco to la bodeguita on a Friday night!
want to thank Leonidas and all his staff for making my daughters birthday so special. have been to so many restaurants over the years but this one is by far the best we have ever been to! the staff are friendly and the food is to die for. i would recommends this place to anyone and i have! will definitely be going back
Thank-you for making Nikkita's 21st really special, you are no1 in south london for a Greek restaurant. And we should know cos we owned the same. Bravo sas, ke Kali tixi. Tina and Christina and family xxx
Good food,Good value for money and good atmosphere!
Staff very attentive sometimes abit to much, but overall very good service. Had a very good evening and is a great addition to the Elephant and Castle area!. Good Times
I went along with 2 friends for a small celebration which the owner did not know about. We were greated with warm charm at the door and were confortably seated in a nice warm resturant.
The decor was a traditional greek atmosphere. The waiter came over and made sure we were all looked after
The food was to die for notr too complicated but reminded me of the many times I have spend in Greek tavernas over the years.
Cannot fault this place and really cannot say a bad word about it either.
It made our night
Thank you
A group of us went here this lunchtime as a new option (bored of Chinese, Polish, etc in the E&C shopping centre - lovely though they are).
Food was fairly standard Greek fair, ie. yummy and filling. No frills, but definitely above average.
Some confusion over the discount flyers sent out, but we still negotiated a discount. All in all very happy - a feast for 7 people for just over £10 a head.
I had a staff Christmas party here on Wednesday. The food was the best Greek food all of us had tasted and the Meze (which we all had) was massive.
If your looking for a Stella or Carling then your in for a surprise as they only sell Greek beers but they tasted great with our meal.
We was not expecting too much as we had left it late but was really happy.
One word of warning. If you have the Meze dont pig out on the dips you wont have room for the main part!
Being a local to this area I was well looking forward to having my favourite type of food being available in such close proximity.
However I was sadly disappointed not only by the lack of food quality but also the service.
Food: What every real foodie would agree is that the success of any meal is the quality of ingredients and you would expect that this element would be a priority if not an inspiration for any chef or restaurant. However this doesn’t seem to be of importance to My Big Fat Greek and was disappointed by faded and equally tasteless tomatoes in my traditionally easy Greek Salad dish which was also served with chopped cos lettuce making me wonder whether this is to save on money?
Sub standard service won’t help this place either where waiters and managers alike have a disingenuous and somewhat pretentious approach to serving where I felt cooed over by a suited member of staff whom perhaps is either wanting to be noticed or wanting to impress and then practically ignored by the rest.
Call me old fashion but I would think that speaking loudly in a foreign language whilst gesturing towards your direction is rude.
The place looks great though and I did enjoy the decor being a mix between modern and traditional Greek and the mural is great. It’s a prime spot for this restaurant but I feel they need to pick up the standard a little because although they may be one of few in that area, but because Greek restaurants are a dime a dozen in London, it makes it even more important to try and stand out however way you can.
The best Greek food I've had in ages. Will go again most definitely. Service was fantastic too.
