I have visited Nandos Covent Garden few days ago. I was really pleased with service and food. My experience was much better than few months ago. The staff was very attentive and profesional. I had good time dining in restaurant and i will be happy to visit the place again.

Agreed. Chicken and chips; poorly done. I went here last evening and I can honestly say it was the most disappointing, poorly presented, depressing excuse for a meal I have had in the past 20 years. A side of corn on the cob was served cold, once returned we were then offered a burnt (but hot) offering. They had no idea what a pair of corn skewers were and smiled looking perplexed. I tried to explain that the corn would be too hot to eat with fingers but in response to this I was told to use a paper napkin. The chicken in the pitta was dry and the salad offering limp and pitiful, 4 distressed, sad leaves. Coleslaw was clearly not of any quality, watery and synthetic tasting. The cutlery was not clean, the table was greasy. Overpriced and underwhelming. This place is truly awful. AVOID. Go to Wahaca next door for cheap, quality, fresh food. I certainly will.

I'm a bit perplexed as to why Nando's is so hugely popular. It's just chicken and chips; where's the X factor? Anyone know?
