Nara is a very nice place to go for lunch and dinner. They do nice hot traditional Korean food mixed with some Japanese dishes like sushi and sashimi. The food was a high point, but the real low at Nara is that you are only eligible to have free tea if you are Korean.


I am not Korean and I was refused the tea even though my friend is half Korean. I will never go there again, as I think that attitude is appalling. If you are Korean and speak Korean, then go and enjoy it, otherwise forget about it.

Nara is a more a local type of restaurant. The food is great! I saw this restaurant on Time Out and thought I'd give it a go and I was pleasantly surprised. The food at Nara is reasonably priced, there are cheap set dinners as well as more expensive evening main courses.


Generally all the food was excellent. The service can be improved but if you are just looking for nice food, then this will be the place for you.

Apparently, Nara is Korean, but to be fair I can't tell the difference - if it's got noodles on the menu I'm happy. Nara do a bargain set lunch at around £6, and a dinnertime set menu at a couple of quid extra.
Bargain.
