We dined on 4th March 2012.The real problem with this restaurant in spite fairly good food is the SLOPPY & RUDE SERVICE. Before booking we looked at their website including their menu online and prices. Chicken Madras, for example, was priced at £5.50, which we thought was very nominal. We turn up to this restaurant and we were offered a menu card, where the same Chicken Madras was priced £7.95! It can be an eat-in price but a hike of £2.45 (almost a 50% increase) for eat-in is ridiculous. The starters chicken tikka and sheek kebab (again priced £1.00 extra more than their website price) were ok, but very small portions. For mains, we ordered Keema rice, veg stuffed paratha, Chicken Madras, Chicken Moriso. Wrong food on the plate-We got pilau rice instead of keema rice. When we asked about the mistake, the waiter just gave a surprised look at us, as if it was our fault pointing out the mistake...didnt bother to even say SORRY and went away. We were made to feel guilty and hence, we decided to eat the pilau rice! Late arrival of main-The chicken moriso 10mins after rest of the mains! Again no SORRY at all!!!Bill-They took 15 mins to write a bill (we had to ask for the bill twice). They had the cheek to charge us for keema rice (which was £1.00 more) instead for pilau rice. When we pointed that out, the waiter stared at us RUDELY. Then we pointed out that chicken moriso was wrongly charged at £1.00 more and again all we received was a blank STARE. We were in fact, scared that he might punch us!!! The waiters chatted to themselves in Bengali, saying that they charged £1.00 extra as they gave us chicken tikka moriso instead of chicken moriso. But we didn’t order chicken tikka moriso and to be honest, they didn’t even have chicken tikka moriso on their menu!!! So how on earth, can they suddenly invent a new dish, serve it to us and then charge £1.00 extra???In total, they had to change their bill twice before getting it right. On our way out, we said
