according to hungry house, this is a very good restaurant, good reputation.
I do not know why. I ordered a meal for 3 to have it delivered at my house. we paid £30 and that seemed a decent price.
we ordered at 5.30 and they told us the order would be delivered between 5.55 and 6.40. we found that quite a big time frame, as we only live one mile away, but anyway, that would still be in time for us to have a family meal, as we have a 5 year old, who needs to go to bed.
at 6.40 nothing. called them. they said they never give delivery times. ok? how about the e-mail you send us stating this time? that's only an indication, came the reply. so: why does it take you more that an hour to make 3 meals before the evening rush? no answer, any problem, do not call us, call hungry house. No, you are cooking for us, the question is, what takes you so long? reply: something that resembled that's not our problem, you wait, or no food for you.... i am a restaurant manager myself, and if i ever would run into someone like this gentleman in my business, i would fire him on the spot, this has nothing to do with customer service, absolutely terrible.
Anyway food came at 7.15,(1.45hr) lukewarm, duck was good, springrolls, good, beef totally fat, a very cheap, poor quality beef. was supposed to be spicy, it wasn't.
If this food was promptly delivered, it would have been average. But with the first part included, i am voting with my feet. never again this poor excuse for a restaurant.....
