I must have had a different experience from the last reviewer - I thought Numero Uno was really nice. It was good quality Italian food served by nice and friendly staff. Maybe they had an off day for the last guy but Numero Uno was all good for me!

It may be Numero Uno to the owners. It may be Numero Uno to the postman. But in my back it is definitely somewhere around the Numero 360 mark.

This review is very out of date and extremely unfair. Like 100's of other locals, I have been going to N1 for many years and have never, not once, been disappointed. Numero Uno is a wonderful restaurant in all categories: food, atmosphere, service. It is a real gem - I'd say it is the best Italian in London without a doubt.
