Just a good italian atmosphere. Lovely Italian manager. Very young and impressively skilled! He was having easily managing a really busy night and he didn't look worried about at all.
None of the customer left without smiling at them.
All the staff was lovely and the food so tasty and good. We enjoyed Spaghetti Carbonara and pizza Amalfi.
Price is normal comparing other Italian companies where they give frozen food.. The food was fresh and gorgeous in Old Amalfi.
Convenient 2 courses lunch menu 10.95. Really worth it!
Would surely recommended it :)
Enjoy

I tried this place because it had such good reviews, but frankly I was disappointed. It's inexpensive, which is a plus, but the menu was a bit uninspiring and the food I had (admittedly I ordered a very unadventurous fettuccine carbonara and tiramisu) was pretty average. Service was OK. Overall it was fine, but I wouldn't recommend this to a friend (especially when places nearby like Bacco on Red Lion Street are much better and, with the current 50% off deal, pretty affordable).

I love this place. Found it by chance when staying nearby for a weekend break in 2000.

Now I live in London I go when Im in the area (which is not nearly enough). Perfect for a romantic meal or a get together with close friends in a relaxed atmosphere.

Food is always excellent and service attentive but unobtrusive. I cannot fault it.

I recently returned to Old Amalfi and was pleasantly surprised to find that the quality of the food and service is still excellent.

Furthermore, a number of additions to the menu mean that there are even more delicious dishes to choose from. Old Amalfi is unbeatable.

Old Amalfi is a great little Italian – really friendly. We found it by accident when we were going to see a play nearby and now visit regularly.
Old Amalfi can get busy due to its location, but is definitely worth a visit.

Old Amalfi is very reasonably priced. Lovely atmosphere - small family restaurant. One of my favourite places to eat - a delicious but select menu.
