a really great restaurant, delighted withe the service and food. i was introduced to the place by colleague i was meeting for lunch and was taken back by the quality and quantity of food. it was busy and there seemed to be a steady flow of custom, something i always look out for to see how popular a place is. i was told it was a ideal place to g out for dinner too, and they can accommodate for large groups with privacy which i opted for my wife's 35th birthday. we had the whole basement to ourselves and our group of friends. they arranged a set menu for us, hot and cold mezez, mains and delicious pudding. it was one memorable night.i have back the since and have to say that I'm pleased that the level of service has not dropped and food is tastes scrumptous.
My favourite restaurant. We keep coming back to it and taking all of our friends there. The place is small, which makes it a little less loud and more intimate. The food is delicious, I never ordered a meal that I did not like. Also, you save loads of money because you bring your own alcohol :)
Great restaurant - quality food, fantastic service as well as being reasonably priced. Will definitely go back!
We went to "Olives and Figs" last night and had an amazing time - beautiful food, excellent service - very tolerant staff - thanks Abdul!

The food here is spectacularly good. The menu is basic but includes all the usual Mediterranean favourites such as tabouleh, humus, falafel, etc.
What makes this restaurant so good is that each dish is perfectly prepared. I was frankly amazed at how delicious each item was.
We shared the mixed mezes, a hot one and a cold one so we could try a little of everything and they were perfect and beautifully presented.
For our mains I had the Kul Basti which is a lamb steak - fantastic, really! I was amazed at how tender it was and the flavour was so authentic - I just don't know how they do it. My friend had the Lamb Shish which was also just delicious.
There were no gristly bits and again, the food was beautifully presented with salad, bread and a chili sauce on the side which was not very spicy but had a fantastic fresh flavour. The bread too is amazing, I expect it's made on site and it really has to be tasted to be believed.
The restaurant is small but friendly, very well decorated and the toilets are well appointed and look smart. The service is also really attentive.
The only downside is that you have to bring your own alcohol so it's well worth popping to the Tesco at Liverpool St before you go!
This restaurant is quite simple, yet very charming and the food is the best Turkish/Greek I have ever tasted. Also, it's really cheap!
