I dined here last night with a group of friends.It took a good 15 minutes for our waiter to show up once we had been seated.When he eventually did return, he took our drinks orders which then took another good 20 minutes to arrive. I asked where our drinks were and he said they were coming and should be 2 more minutes.It wasn't packed out, you're better off going to the bar yourself and ordering drinks. I didn't understand how it could take 20 mins to make 2 cocktails, 2 glasses of wine and to bring a bottle of wine over to our table.Anyway when the drinks finally did arrive, the raspberry kooler cocktail I ordered was very good.We then had to wait an extra 15 minutes for our waiter to return to take our food order.The food took about 40 minutes to arrive and one of my friends dishes was incorrect and the waiter obviously hadn't listened to what she had requested.She has an allergy to olives and requested they didn't put any on her plate and they did. She also requested the tuna steak to be mixed into the pasta rather than just be presented with a slab of meat on top - I expected a higher calibre of quality and the overall dish presentation. I've actually had better in your average high street pub. We asked for some more drinks but again they took at least 7 minutes to arrive. If they were struggling that much behind the bar I suggest they put an extra member of bar staff on especially a Saturday night to help with the dispense of the restaurant.The waiter eventually came over to do a check back but it was obvious he had no real effort to make our visit a memorable experience and he didn't seem too bothered. We were presented with dessert menus but promptly declined as we were eager to leave and move on to somewhere else. We got the bill but they didn't come back over to us so we could pay so in the end we walked over to the till with coats on. I wouldn't go here again mainly due to the poor service, Plus, the food is very average.
