Have to say I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. We ordered the mixed platter for starters (which was OK) and hoped that this meant that the main course was going to be good. No such thing. I ordered Thai green curry (chicken) and have to say it was the worst I've tried anywhere. The sauce was watery and the chicken was tasteless (I think they just dropped chicken pieces into the sauce).

Everything was overpriced (and I had a Tastecard too). Definitely wouldn't go again and wouldn't recommend to friends either.

I really feel the need to warn people to stay away from ORA Restaurant. The food is so terrible and the service is most probably even worst than that, now I'm thinking back about it. The staff have no manners and are not willing to help when it comes to the menu. Also found they were not child friendly at all. My poor son was left feeling rubbish after staff totally ignored him whilst he tried to get their attention ( my son is your normal 3 year old, asking questions like ''what is your name'') . They just gave him a evil look and ignored him. This offended me deeply and I will definitely not be recommending any of my friends to dine at ora. The manager is rude, we could see where the staff was getting it from. I will never return here again and I would like to warn everybody to stay away if you do not want disappointment.

Worst Thai restaurant I have ever visited in my life so far!
Rude service, terrible food and a cheap club-like atmosphere!
Will not be returning!

Appearances can often be deceiving - and in the case of Ora this is definitely true! While it may look slick and stylish, our food was luke warm (had to send it all back), the service slow and the wine vastly overpriced. Stick to Busaba or Mangosteen for tasty Thai food at a fraction of the price.

Not particularly impressed and overpriced. We used a tastecard which gives a 50% discount on food, but the service fee was charged on the pre-discount price! Very poor!

This restaurant seriously needs organising. In my 25 years of dinning I have never come across a restaurant that handles promotions so badly. We had an offer for 50% off and despite being phoned in the morning to confirm the reservation we were refused to be seated as the restaraunt had taken on full paid dinners.
I am compelled to write this view as I feel no organization in this day of age where recommendations and reviews are like Gold, should be allowed to get away with this sort of play. My advise ignore this one if you are looking for a Good deal, as you'll be extremely dissapointed at the last minute.

While the door-greeters were wonderful, the entire experience went downhill once we'd handed over our coats. The starter (Spices Merchant) was barely warm and everything felt overly-soggy and overly-oily. Thank goodness for the four sauces or the appetizers would have had no taste at all. The wait staff seemed to forget we were there until we called them over (repeatedly) to order mains and new drinks. However, after we'd paid our bill, they immediately asked us to move to the lounge to finish our drinks, since they needed our seats. Our mains were all right - but not at all as tasty as expected. In this neighborhood, I'd go to Busaba Eathai any night of the week for thai food, and I definitely won't be going back to Ora.

I went to Ora 7 days after it opened its doors, which is very odd for me as I know all new restaurants have teething problems in the first month of opening.

The decor is ultra modern and trendy. They use pink and browns as their signature colors which go very well. The Ora logo can be noticed throughout the restaurant, even on the cutlery.

The food was out of this world. I cannot believe that a restaurant that is so new could have thrown such a flavoursome feast for us. All food was piping hot with portion sizes that are not too small or too big but just right.

The service is very attentive with out being over the top. After the meal our waitress introduced us to Nok who is the GM. This I thought to be such a great touch as Nok was very eager to hear what we had to say about the food and service.

All in all a great place.

I nearly walked past Ora as a big wheelie bin and bag of rubbish obscured the entrance. Inside Ora looks the part all sleek and minimalistic but the food didn't live up to the decor.
It's pretty hard to screw up a pot of tea but our individual pots of jasmine and green tea were barely warmer than tap water. The waitress didn't seem too surprised as the table across from us had the same problem.
The merchant tasting platter starter was okay with a deep fried selection of crab cakes, tempura prawns and wontons but the squid was also barely warm.
The main of crispy seabass was delicious but the pineapple fried rice with prawn and chicken was tepid to say the least. No apologies were given and it was sent back to the kitchen and replaced with a steaming hot one a little too fast that indicated it may have been microwaved.
The table across had to send all their mains back to the kitchen due to temperature issues as well which is of serious concern as there were only 9 diners in the whole restaurant.
I was expecting big things but it failed to satisfy.
