A friend of mine recently got a job here and the owner Giuseppe is extremely dodgy. He started to make unwanted advances towards her and was relentless in his sleaziness.
Needless to say she walked out quick smart but I suspect this isn't the first time he's tried this.
Dirty man.

This is without any doubt the best italian pizza&pasta place I have been to in London. The food was delicious, what is even better it was cheap!. The place has got a simple design. You don't need anything else when are there was food! . Great experience which I would definitely recommend. And of course I would go back for the best pizza in town :) . But next time I will leave some space for some deserts as well! If you have not been there, you are missing out!
AWFUL. I was very disappointed with this restaurant. I had been a few years ago and remembered it well for being good however this is no longer the case.
Giuseppe seems to have substituted with cheap, salty ingredients (particularly the standard cheese). Such a shame.
What was even more of a shame was that he overcharged me and when I pointed this out was actually quite rude to me. I was shocked.
Very disappointed that was decent food in an albeit run down interior has been left to reduce to cheap ingredients, overcharging and a rude owner if you dare say anything.
If you want really good affordable Italian food this is it! Highly recommended.Neil Sibly.
We stumbled across this tiny dark street and were fearful of being mugged by a bunch of Islington hoodies. Instead, what we found was a gem of a place and truly loved dining and wining at Oregano. Since then, we have gone back to Oregano on many special occasions when the girlfriend needed an affordable but classy treat.
My boyfriend and I have been going to Oregano for a couple of years now and love it! My boyfriend is Italian (and critical of how Italian food is cooked) and thinks this place has the best pizza he's had in London, freshly cooked and in a WOOD oven which is so much better. Oregano has a great selection of pizza's for vegetarians too.
Oregano is a real local’s place. Me and my girlfriend come here all the time – she loves Oregano.
Maybe I shouldn’t have mentioned it – I don’t want you stealing our table.
