An Italian that doesn't do pizza's isn't helping itself in my book. So the fact that I like Osteria Antic Bologna means it must be good. It's pricey, but the food is delicious and it has bags of personality.


If you can sit at the front, it's cosy. If you can't, you'll feel like you are on a budget aircraft. So specify when you book at osteria Antica Bologna.

Osteria Antica Bologna was just awful - poor standard of food and expensive. When I said I didn't like my meal the owner/manager came over to tell me other people had liked it. So?? I didn't!! He then very generously told me he'd discount the bill, which he did, to the tune of £1.50!
Stay away from Osteria Antica Bologna.

Not only is the food at Osteria Antica Bologna wonderful, they've got a great wine list starting from a tenner - unheard of in this part of London.
Me and my wife come to Osteria Antica Bologna every Friday we love it so much.

Truly terrible service tonight with a one hour wait for distinctly average food (Twangy steak and chemical ragu).
When asked to remove the "suggested gratuity" from the bill the manager became overtly frosty and certainly did nothing to placate!
Avoid if possible!!
