We have always enjoyed eating at Food @ The Muse, but something has changed, has it changed hands? Have they got bored? Have the chef and the Maitre D moved to pastures green?

It was appalling. Service was by waitresses from the Woolworth School of Cuisine. The wine we ordered from the list did not exist, but the replacement was similar...as in it was the same colour but different country, year and grape, but hey, its red.

The chef at Food @ The Muse seems to have read the the Good School Dinner guide. If it's meat, dont listen to the customer, what do they know, leave it raw!? If it's green, boil it to death.

There are scores of great restaurants in Notting Hill, my advice is 'walk on' when you come to Food @ The Muse.

I've eaten at Food @ The Muse at least five times. I can't fault the food. It is fabulous. The chef is really creative with flavours and the food is fresh and crisp. However, don't expect to be able to have a long lingering evening. The decor looks good from a distance but I have never sat on more uncomfortable seats. I have ended up with bruises on the backs of my legs. The high, bench seats ruin what could be an amazing taste experience. Food @ The Muse is best for a quicky lunch - it's great value. Would someone there please throw out the furniture and be kind to your customers?
