Great value for money, good food and a great atmosphere. Even if you don't bring your own booze it is still a good place to go! I recommend the pepper and ginger king prawn main course!

What a little gem.If you are put off by appearances – don’t go in. The restaurant area is down stairs and is quite small and intimate. You will know your dining partner and fellow diners quite well by the end of the evening!!! The Loo is clean but very small and awkward to go in and out of, but that doesn’t really matter. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is really good. We had Starters, Soup, Main course and Dessert and the bill came to £36 for the two of us. There was a good varied choice on the menu and to be honest the food looked and tasted far more authentic than in much more fancy and expensive restaurants. They sell tea coffee and soft drinks, if you want beer or wine you can bring your own and pay a minimal corkage charge.Best bit [after eating] was being able to walk out past the cooks and say thank you to them in person for such a lovely meal.

I was debating whether or not to even write this review as Paolina's is a real hidden gems; and one of the best restaurants i've been to in London.

1) Food: - Authentic and delicious menu, with mains costing as little as £4!

2) Staff and Service: - The best in my 3 years of dining in London. Consistently faultless each time I have been there.

3) venue: - Cosy and quirky. Don't be put off by the restaurants exterior, it is much nicer inside but you will be quite close and friendly with your fellow diner.

Overall an absolutely fantastic venue!

Paolina Cafe and Thai Restaurant has nice food, and it's cheap! They have a large variety in their menu and nice service.

The decor is not the best, it could be made to look more posh, but the atmosphere at Paolina Cafe and Thai Restaurant is still comfortable.

I went to Paolina for my birthday lunch with people from work, the food was really good- the best Thai I have had in London so far - and it is amazing value for money ave £4.50 for a main dish. The owners were so lovely - they found out it was my birthday and gave me a card. I am taking my boyfriend for there for dinner in a couple of days, the prices are stil the same and they create a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant in the evening. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, it is a real gem within lots of overpriced, overhyped Thai places that are now present in London.

Paolina is a popular, small, lunchtime venue that gets busy at about one. Selection of chinese/thai type dishes, with good value for money special of the day. Very friendly husband and wife team, sometimes assisted by their daughter.
