Invited to meet with some Russian speaking folk known to my wife..Initial impression was that we have gone to the wrong place and we could only see a Hotel reception, but follow the read carpet - past some roud floor hotel rooms and Baths and you'll be rewarded .OK, I'm familiar with the cuisine of the Central Asian ex Soviet Republics and most Brits would be frightened to try.... and more fool them..!!you can set at a conventional table or crossed legged on thick carpet with soft pillows.We tried Georgian and Kazakh red wines and a diverse range of food.. a refreshing change... and we will visit, again..A word of thanks to the Pasha Moroccan restaurant off Gloucester road in SW7.. we went there first ( five miles from our PROPER venue) and they provided us with mint tea - whilst we established where we WERE supposed to meet.. We are not familiar with London .. this looked a great venue, too and the Manager wouldn't let us pay !
