So far the only decent yum cha restaurant I've found in London after 2 years. Still not a patch of Hong Kong or Sydney but given the generally dismal standard of cantonese food in the UK, this is pretty damn good.

During the Chinese new year try some of the special dim sum with a fungus that looks like black hair which represents long life.

Singaporean Chinese working in Eastern europe for 6 months, visited London for a short holiday with the family.

Visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon for Dim Sum as it was a short walking distance from Madame Tussard. Overall ambience was nice, clean toliets, child friendly and had huge sitting capacity but was jam packed when we visited.

Ordered several items from menu hoping to order again, but that was a mistake as the place got crowded and was almost impossible to get an order in if you do not have time to spare.

Other than Siew Mai and Char Siew Pau not as good as Joy King Luck at Leicester, the century porridge had tasty slices of salty pork, which was refreshing.

Duck filled spring rolls was unusual, small serving but refreshing change from the usual. The lotus leaf glutinous rice, regular glutinous rice and small egg tarts were all above average.

Nice place to visit if you are in the vicinity, short walking distance from Regent station.

The restaurant itself lacks ambiance but the food and service is outstanding!

The mere the fact that it is often packed with Chinese folk is always a good sign of good authentic food and the aromatic duck is to die for!

One of London's little gems and I've been eating out in Chinese restaurants all over the world for over 20 years.

Keep it up.

This restaurant isn't even worth one star alone. I am so disgusted after my visit. The service is awful, the place is tacky, Why would anyone go there when Royal China is down the road.
They put prawns in my supposedly 'vegetarian' soup too. I never write reviews but this is one place to avoid for good.
