Visited this place again on Saturday and the service was much improved.

It was still empty when we got there at lunchtime but got busier as the lunch period progressed.

There was just one waiter and the chef in the kitchen by the looks of it but they dealt with everthing well and service was attentive.

If you are a member of Taste London Pizza Express Restaurants in London give you a 50% discount on all food for members of your party at any time.

So for three of us the bill came in at £26 for three pizzas, 3 cokes and 3 coffees.

I think your experience at Pizza Express really depends the attitude of the staff on shift when you visit.

Went here a few months ago on a 2-4-1 deal. As usual the pizzas are always decent. However it's a large restaurant and the place was mostly empty. Even so it took ages to get served and it was hard to figure out what the staff were actually doing. They kept disappearing and when they reappeared it was diffiult to get their attention.

I imagine we may go here again if we're passing just because you know you can rely on the food, if not the staff.
