Faces you'll see:
Located in a small primary school, the Queens Park Farmers Market hosts a small but select number of stalls, which doesns't pull in the crowds from too far. Expect to see locals getting their veg and meat for a Sunday roast, and regular punters who turn up to see what's new with their favourites. Many stall holders are there on rotation rather than every week, meaning you will always see plenty of different types of produce and are guaranteed one or two surprises.
An intimate market with a great community feel, Queens Park Village itself has some lovely pubs and restaurants nearby, making it a great spot for foodie fans of all kinds. Round off your visit by buying delicious produce for an ad hoc picnic on Queens Park or pop down Salusbury Road for a pint and some lunch.
