An upmarket Italian, with absolutely superb service - attentive but not stuffy or fussy. The restaurant is light and bright with starched linen and terrifically large wine glasses. A choice of over 10 breads and oil is just right whilst pouring over the menu. I always go for the pasta as a main, cheaper and it comes in a starter size portion as well – excellent for lunch and it leaves room for the huge cheese list, some of which are displayed in a trolley whilst the others remain refrigerated. Around £100 for a splash our lunch but well worth it. You don’t leave feeling cheated by either food, price or people! Also great for MP spotting as it's so close to Westminster.

Quirinale does very simple Italian food but my Lord is it stupendous. The simplicity of flavours is perfect for Italian cuisine. I do feel a bit bad about admitting that the spaghetti with lobster and broccoli surpassed my Italian mother's dishes but I guess I'll have to take her to Quirinale just to prove it. Oh well!

Quirinale's a funny place. Some of it's really good, some of it's really bad (the chefs seem to get the harder dishes spot on, then muck up the simple ones!)

It was fairly busy in there when I went and good for people watching. I'm not sure I'd recommend Quirinale for the food, but I had an interesting afternoon in there!
