I am desperate to find a good Malaysian restaurant in London! Went to Rasa Penang full of hope but was let down again - the food was OK but a bit bland to be honest.

Reasonable prices and the service was good but I know Malaysian food can be better than this! Nice try Rasa Penang but I think my search will have to continue.

Rasa Penang is a dreadful eatery. Sugar, salt, fat. Deep-fried this, syrupy that.

The menu is ridiculous - nowhere could cook that many dishes well! And as far as I can tell, they don't cook any of them well.

Good malaysian - C&R or something (Rupert's Court, Soho, and there's one in Bayswater). "Bugis Street" near Gloucester Rd tube is great, and authentic - properly authentic, hardly any gwailos.

It services travellers from Singapore and Malaysia (the hotel is owned by a Singaporean).

Rasa Penang - no good food, rude and pushy service, high prices, questionable quality.
