I went with a group of 5 friends last weekend and we were all very disappointed with Rasa. We arrived at 8.30pm but did not get our food until 9.50pm. By that time, we were all very tired and hungry and fed up. The restaurant did not look that busy. My friends, who came specially from out of town to have the delights of Rasa cooking now do not wish to go back to any Rasa restaurants in London again. Be warned.

Bitterly disapponted with Rasa Samudra I am afraid. Perhaps a combination of selecting the wrong dish and my high expectations due to the good reviews it has received. The food was cold and tasteless. I was tempted to ask for salt to spice it up.

I went to Rasa Samundra for the first time last week, after my mother recommended it. It really was excellent. I am completley vegetarian and there was a very wide selection. The food was fresh, beautifully prepared and very reasonable.

My husband is Indian, so I have had many Indian dishes and eaten in many restaurants, and this was one of the best. Rasa Samudra is highly reccomended.

The BEST Indian food I have had outside India can be found at Rasa Samudra. The dressed crab is to die for! A unique selection of curries. Very different from the type you will find on Brick Lane, or most high streets for that matter. The flavouring is delicate and NOT overloaded with chilli, cumin, turmeric or red food colouring!
