Do not go! The service was very slow and unorganised and the food was RAW!I went with a party of 8 on Friday evening and it was the worst experience I have ever had. We arrive at 8:30, and order drinks, 35min passes and nothing has turned up. We ask the waiter whats going on? eventually 1 drink turns up, we enquire again where the other drinks are and the lady explains they are busy and there are only two barmen. The place was not even full and already they were struggling. Eventually the rest of our drinks turn up.We order our food, another 45 min passes and we are still sitting there with nothing. We enquire again and the lady says she will check, but still nothing. Eventually at 10:30 the food turns up, well not all of it as we were still missing one main! The chicken is completely RAW in the middle – see photo. They served this to my pregnant friend. The burger is loaded with grease and is very bland. The other main still hasn’t arrived. We have had enough and walk out, at which point the waiter still try’s to hand us the bill. It was unbelievable. From the Guardians review it looks like we were not the only people to get RAW chicken;http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2011/jul/03/jay-rayner-red-dog-saloon

I've been to Red Dog Saloon a few times now over the last couple of months. The wings and barbecue are exceptional and the burgers feel authentically American. Friendly (although seemingly inexperienced) staff and the owner is often around and happy to talk about the menu and hear what you think. Drinks are quite expensive (but that is to be expected in Hoxton Square) and the service is almost too efficient: as soon as one course ends the next is placed in front of you with little time to recover. All in all though; great food, reasonably priced and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere

Went to Red Dog Saloon last thursday, had some great buffalo wings and a beef short rib that blew me away, haven't had anything like it since living in the states. Mrs. Foodcritik had a Louisiana burger and it made her very happy indeed. Place looks great, price is right and the staff are friendly, what more do you want!! Highly recommend.

I went to The Red Dog Saloon quite by accident during their "soft-opening" and had a lovely meal, followed by a few Tequilas (a speciality of theirs). I will definitely go back.
I had a Burger and my friend tried out their ribs from the bbq. The Ribs were cooked for 8/10 hours in a smoker and were truly amazing, the burger was juicy and meaty, just as a burger should be.
Our waitress was friendly and overall the place had a great vibe. The place is laid back and friendly so you can stay all night trying out their rather exotic range of tequilas.
As a Hoxton local, I welcome the latest addition to our square!

I went there on Friday night before busy service. The Food was testy but cold :( weird because it was quiet . After sending back my meal to heat it up I did enjoy the rest of my meal. Then we order ice cream that shouts from the menu proper house and yummy ice cream. It come like a cheap supermarket ice cream vanilla cookies crunch and it was really disappointing. Also very disappointing is fact that they have very small menu with testy but Cold food. Would not recommend. Waitress was cool but service overall very poor.
