Went to Red with my girlfriend a few weeks ago and when the g/f lost her purse, the staff were really helpful in doing a quick sweep of the premises. it was located on the floor almost camoflaged. this was pretty early on the evening so perhaps later in the evening we may not have got such attention (and believe me it gets busy) but we were very grateful and able to enjoy the rest of our evening. drinks were averaged priced for the area and there was a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to the place.

I wasn't impressed with this bar, don't get me wrong it's very trendy and feels like 'the place to be' - but it was full to the brim and I had to ditch my friends (it was my Miss's b/day party). The bouncer stuck to his word and let me and one of my friends through the back and he was a nice bloke. Same goes for most of the staff actually cool, friendly and helpful. The cloakroom girl could smile a bit more though! The drinks are horrendously overpriced but that’s what you get with a back-street west end bar. It's a bit cramped but wasn't uncomfortable though as the door staff were strict on the capacity limit. The women were stunning but unfortunately didn't share a brain cell between them. Go to this place with good company and get there early so you can get in and enjoy the funky music, wicked red decor and eye candy. If you’re buying rounds, expect to have a nice dent in your bank balance after the night is done!

Red is an unpretenious bar with good service and management that seeks to look after their clients. Our waitress ensured we had a good time and our requests were met on time and with a friendly smile. The drinks are reasonably priced for the type of venue Red is, but it could do with better decor.

Red is terrible. I have never experienced such awful service and reception ever before! I don't mind pretentious or smarmy, but I do mind down right rude.

I went there for a drink on my birthday with a group of well dressed and sober friends and we were made to feel like soccer hooligans. Red wasn't even busy. Never ever again.

We went for a girly night out at Red the other weekend and we all had a very good time. Followed by a very bad Sunday as we all had hangovers from the amazing cocktails.

My friend fancied the barman and so she kept going back to him to get him to make us more drinks. I can't remember what they were called, but they were so yummy, so we all got hammered! Red is fab. I can't wait til we can all go back.

I went to Red last night and was so disappointed with the 'greeting' we received from the doorman. I don't think I have ever met anyone so rude. Do yourself a favour, avoid Red and go down the road to Digress.
