You could not be more wrong. I myself went there with my children and absolutely loved it. The staff were fantastic and the food was really lovely, especially considering the price of it! it was great value, as they do everything half price of an evening which in this economic crisis is wonderful. Far from being a 'greasy spoon', it is clearly a diner, with yes, some cafe food but a lot of variety. I took my two children there and had no problems whatsoever. They do adult meals but smaller for children, and mine had the half jacket with tuna and salad, not to offend you but did you really expect to give your children fish fingers and chips and have it miraculously become really healthy as it reached your table? Don't order junk food if you don't want it, personally I think perhaps you should try to refrain from feeding your children unhealthy food anyway, so that one's on you.

When I have been there, the atmosphere is fantastic and the staff are very efficient and really friendly. They make people feel relaxed and always make an effort to chat and not behave as if you are just another customer.
Redwoods is a lovely place for affordable, tasty food and drink and I would recommend it to anyone!

what a load of twaddle you speak. there is plenty of good food there, all healthy. i have been there and the b'fast was really crisp and no grease at all. and again the pancakes are addictive when you have them once you just want them everytime
