As you'd expect from the Time and Space Restaurant, there's nothing run-of-the-mill about their afternoon tea. £14.95 per person buys smoked salmon, cucumber, dill and creme fraiche and egg and watercress potato buns, a ham and piccalilli cheese biscuit, a buttered scone served with clotted cream and jam, mango fool, Battenburg Cake and Opera Cake.

As for the drinks, the loose tea and infusions include rooibos, silver needle white tea, Dragon well LongJing, jasmine pearls green tea, mango and strawberry amongst other more traditional blends such as Assam and Earl Grey.
