If you are every ambling down the northcote road, stumbling across clapham junction or even doing a spot of clubbing at clapham grand...AVOID THIS PLACE. And I'm not gonna lie- our night was good thus far. I'm a party animal, as are my friends, we party 'till the am', as it were. However, this place, with its over priced drinks and smelly bouncers prevented us from doing so at Revolution. The bouncers were unhelpful and one of them was under the humiliating misconception that she was always right. She's not. Quite frankly, she's always wrong. The amalgamation of her anti-dulivian persona and her enigmatic negation of everything we claimed means the Bar is nothing more than arbitrary. One of our friends ID got taken because it didn't 'look like her' which is absolute rubbish. Lucky we found other places to party till the am. Looking over a couple of reviews it seems like I am not alone with this absolutely rubbish night.
Me and a few friends decided to hit the Clapham Bars making our way along St Johns road and eventually finishing up at Revolution.
This was the worst idea.
The bouncers are extremely rude and aggressive, they put a downer on our whole night as they wouldn't let one of our friends in for some unknown reason.
Having had talks to the aggressive (oversized) manager , who promised many things she could not do.
With there imperfect knowledge and the complete miss judgement we managed to spend over half an hour arguing with these people.
Quite frankly it was very out of order and I don't think it is a good business plan to have such horrible people part of the bars work force.
I strongly don't recommend this place (if you looking for a funny night in that area Adventure is one of the best places to go.)

This place is quite spaciuos. I liked the music, a good mix of crowd, a full dance floor at all times, security was pleasant. The rest rooms are nice and big too. Easy to get from Clapham Junction station. I would really recommend this place if you don't wanna go clubbing to a proper club but still prefer a good dance.

Nice bar! shame about the cloakroom, coat was stolen, manager promised to reimburse, 9 weeks down the line, out of pocket for first coat, out of pocket for replacement coat, (which was bought on the advice of the manager, and told to show receipt). Did exactly as was told including sending copy of receipt to their head office, and copy of cloakroom ticket, still not reimbursed!So AVOID CLOAKROOM AT ALL COSTS!!!

If you can possibly avoid this place, do! Such an awful experience.

Reserved an area for my birthday party - really easy to book and the staff on the phone were very helpful. We were having a great evening until a bouncer approached and asked one of my best mates to leave for "dancing vigorously". It ruined the whole evening (it was only 11pm), so I asked to see the manager. He was very unresponsive to the feedback and had no interest in trying to keep our business. The evening was over by 11.30; extremely disappointing!
