Have been visiting this restaurant for a number of years and never once had a bad experience. Staff very friendly and welcoming and food excellent value for money with HUGE portions!

The old restaurant has closed as they are moving further up Green Lanes (opposite The Fox) and am looking forward to visiting the new restaurant once open.

This is certainly my favourite restaurant in the area, I have tried others but keep going back to Rimini. It is family run and provides the ideal alternative to the increasing number of chain restaurants.

On my first visit I was treated as if I was a longstanding customer and that welcome has remained over the 10 years that I have been going now. I have also taken many friends and family there and everyone has liked it so much so that if anyone is staying for the weekend then they always request that we go for a meal to Rimini’s.

The menu has a varied and extensive range of freshly made Italian food and I have always found the quality of the food to be excellent. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, they are also knowledgeable about what they are serving and will adapt items on the menu to suit individual taste or dietary requirements. They have a good wine list and a well-stocked bar but the main attraction is always the food.

I have a list of favourites from their menu, too many to list here but make sure you try the pate for starter, it is homemade chicken liver with orange and pistachio & it is divine – but don’t take my word for it just go & find out for yourselves. I can’t recommend it too highly.

Dreadful. Staff were rude and the manager was aggressive and borderline abusive. We were ignored for much of the evening and then charged £1 for the use of an extra plate. We were sharing a pizza and 'we needed to cover the cost of the washing up of an extra plate', not only this but we were then charged 10% service charge on top of this despite lack of any reasonable service. When queried staff were intimidating and rude. We will not be returning to this place.

We were introduced to the delicious food at Riminis when they outside-catered for a friend's party many years ago; great pizzas, superb chicken liver, orange & pistachio pate and a great selection of roasted vegetables. Since then, it's our favourite local restaurant for celebrations and "can't-face-cooking Sundays".
We've taken many friends to lunch & dinner there, from casual diners to real foodies, and no one has ever been disappointed; a very extensive menu, consistently wonderfully-cooked food and a warm welcome from a likable service team have kept Riminis at the top of our restaurant list for 8 years.
Our favourite choices are starting with either the unique pate, pizza garlic bread, (with tomato is best!), calamari, calves liver or a smaller portion from the pasta list. Main courses are usually one of the lovely chicken or veal dishes - the vitello alla Milanese is always good - with a menu which concentrates on authentic Italian dishes.
Light-eaters beware 'though - all starters and main courses are substantial so be careful when you order or you may not have enough space for one of the scrumptious desserts.
It's a great place for getting together with friends and family, (my Mum regularly travels from Newcastle to stay with us as an excuse to visit Riminis!), but don't book if you're looking for a quiet, romantic evening for two, the ambiance is boisterously Italian!
Totally recommended!

Couldn't agree more with the first review - it's surrounded by other pizza places - Dominos, Papa Johns and Pizza Hut - and you'd have to be mad to use any of them. Whether you eat in or take away, the food is delicious, the staff and friendly and the value for money excellent. We're going to move to the other end of the country soon and if there's one thing I could take with me, it would be Rimini.
