I've been here a couple of times and really like it although the service was a bit slow the second time - possibly due to the fact we were hidden in a cubby hole at the end of the main dining room.

It's good for big groups or couples with a friendly atmosphere and good service. The prices are reasonable and the only down side is you sometimes have to fight your way through a crowded bar area to get to the stairs up to the restaurant.

I would highly recommend paying this place a visit for the food although the ground floor bar isn't really to my liking with it's throng of rowdier than usual after work city types.

This doesn't detract from the restaurant experience though.

Rocket rocks - great cocktails and atmosphere. Brilliant for drinks after work especially when the weather is good enough to be outside.

I first went to Rocket a few months ago when taken for a business lunch.

It was such good value that I have now taken to going regularly for drinks or dinner after work.

It is fun and friendly - and best of all good value both for food (portions are huge) and wine (according to my friend Anthony who knows about wine).

I love Rocket - buzzy, lively and great value. The pizzas are huge and delicious. Its fun.

Ok bar, but the worst service I've experienced in a long time. The two waitresses were incredibly rude.

They treated my friends and I as though it was hassle us being there. One of them couldn't even speak English.

Absoutely terrible service. Definitely won't be going back.

Rocket in Putney is the best place I've eaten in a very long time. We've been there several times in the past few months and love it. I even convinced work colleagues to have our Xmas party there in December! The Rocket food is outstanding and so is the service!

Rocket does good kind of rustic food, that suits me fine. Its all very nice and healthy feeling even if its not actually that good for you. The Rocket fish soup was fab and the bean stew was even better. A good place for a meal with friends.
