Found this little restaurant by looking up local places to eat on my iphone whilst on a weekend break with my wife.
We were the only customers in that night, but that didn't ruin the mood.
We had probably the best meal we've ever had, everything was fantastic, the food, the wine, the service.
I can't praise this restaurant enough.
If you're in this area of london, definitely pay Rosemary Lane a visit.

Outstanding lunch venue, especially for the area. Food is fresh and excellently presented. Service is attentive without being overbearing and prices are reasonable for the quality, quantity and detail. I have been four times in the last couple of months and I would rate highly the consistency of the food (and service). The menu has recently changed and the choice is sufficient rather than extensive.

Generally good value and quiet location in sensible surroundings.

Rosemary Lane is without a doubt our favourite restaurant. They have retained the character of the East End pub it once was whilst updating it with style. The food is always superb, with great ingredients, well cooked and superb'y presented.

Whether we have been the only people there or it has been full, we have always thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will keep going back for more. It's a far cry from the plastic Ramsay style restaurants of the West End. Rosemary Lane is owner/chef run and it shows.

I had a very good night at Rosemary Lane. Lovely French food and wine, the seafood was great, although I don't like to take the shell off myself. The only problem with Rosemary Lane is the location. I'm not keen on the area at all. Other than that though, perfect.
