The food at RSJ was okay, but the wines were awful and very expensive. What's wrong with your average bottle of house red - theirs costs about £16.00! My girlfriend did enjoy her food though. She had the RSJ ribeye beef, which I wish I'd had instead of the mullet as it did not go with the wine at all. Or rather the wine did not go with it.

Friendly staff at RSJ make you feel at ease and very welcome as soon as you step inside.

The service throughout the evening was prompt, polite and positive and made for an enjoyable meal. The restaurant itself is decorated in a modern but rather bland, innoffensive way and the tables are a little crammed together for my liking.

However, the Anglo-French cusine is inventive, well presented and tasty with the set menu being a real bargain at £17 for 3 courses. And for wine fans RSJ's list is extensive and far reaching. The highlight was a delightful summer fruit creme brulee that I could have eaten twice over!
