I went to a private party here at the weekend and had a great time. Liked the decor and the staff were all friendly. I thought the drinks were quite pricey but I'm not from the area so not sure what they are like elsewhere.

Came here for Xmas work dinner and was seriously not impressed.Christmas lunch was rubbish, no potatoes with a classic turkey Christmas meal?? WTF? Some sort of pot with meat in, as a replacement. Half a88sed starters and deserts.We hadn't been told that after two hours, we would have to vacate the table to make way for another Xmas work do. So even though the place was empty at 5pm we were moved to the Sofas. Then at 6.30pm we were moved on again to stand.The most galling thing about eating here, apart from the severely lacking food and be moved around more than the littlest hobo, was that having left the table we continued to order wine which we picked up from the bar ourselves, but we were charged 12.5% service on all these.Also music too loud to have decent chat with out screaming down someones ear drum. We were not a group of OAPs either.In summaryNot a bad bar to drink in, rubbish to eat in.

This is near my workplace. Its a nice place for a drink - the steak was very well cooked I would just suggest some live music!!
