Please don't go to this restaurant. You will experience the most rudest service ever on earth. Some of the staffs think that they work at the Ritz.They are rude and unfriendly and not capable for their profession.Just ignore this place, London is big enough for far more better Indian food
Really rude on the telephone and very expensive - £23 for two lamb biryani! Thought about his rudeness and decided to cancel. Appalling customer service
recently i visited their restaurant and it just amazing.their food and atmosphere was very nice. i will recommand every one to try them.
I am quite surprised by a few of their negative reviews from their customers.
I have to say we have been to Simply Indian few times now and we now and then we get delivery and the food quality is absolutely top nosh every time and the service is fine its way better service then some of the other local restaurants.
not a bad local indian, fast delivery and food was fine. would like to see some healthy options and staff could be a bit more helpful on the phone but apart from that, i would defo use again
Had previously ordered from here and food was fair to medium so thought would give it another try but with another selection (perhaps not their best dishes).
However, this time whilst asking for advice on recommended dishes I was asked "did you want to order or not?"
I'm sorry, but if I am to spend my hard earned money anywhere, I don't expect such poor customer service.
My money will go elsewhere thanks!
SIMPLY THE WORST EXPERIENCE. They left us angry and hungry!
lastSaturdayy (6thJunee) my bf and i ordered takeaway from them at 8:30pm and we were promised that food will arrive in 40mins.
After an hour, we rang again to check and was told that the food is on its way.
So we waited for another 30mins (by now it is 10pm) and we rang again and was told that the food JUST left the restaurant and will not bedeliveredd for another 20mins.
The staff was very very rude and what made me furious was that he made it sound normal for a takeaway to bedeliveredd 2 hours after the order and I was the one being ridiculous.
He was not apologetic through out ourconversationn and have completely ruined our evening. The food NEVER came (after more than 2 hours) and WE WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!
I ordered a takeout for deliver. The Waiter was rude on the phone. I was told 45 mins for delivery of our dinner but we waited over an hour! When I called the restaurant, the waiter was very rude, dismissive and arrogant. Food finally arrived and was very dissapointing. Onion bajis were burnt and hard like rocks and portions were small, not good value at all. There are much better Indian take outs than this!
I've lived in London for 8 years not and have to say that so far this is the best curry I've found. Living locally I go roughly once every couple of weeks and haven't had a bad experience yet. The food and menu are quite modern but with plenty of classic dishes. It's cheap too. Remember to take your own alcohol though - it's bring-your-own as they don't have a license.
Simply Indian Restaurant is a cheap and cheerful place to get a curry. They have a wide-ranging menu and the atmosphere is usually buzzing.
In fact, Simply Indian Restaurant seems to be packed every time I go, so it must be good!
