Starters were fantastic, mains beautifully presented and tasty. Usually after finishing a meal, I end up moaning for a bit. But, this time was different. I got up full and happy.

The service was great, waiters were polite. The food was tasty. What I liked was that the portion size was not too small.

Really not one of those usual Indian restaurants spread all over london, Its actually worth the experience u have here. I went to this Indian theme restaurant wen a friend recommended it. I have been quite fascinated with the whole indian bollywood stuff and was in the mood to have some authentic curries.
My evening started with the wonderful decor and we took a table for 6 at a special enclosed table. Really interesting atmosphere with posters and videos, all so bright and colorful.
The staff was really warm and welcoming, as expected from an Indian restaurant, great service.
We availed their offer of unlimited kebabs and curries n it was absolutely delicious, there was so much variety, some of the best curries we have had.
Overall a great experience and would love to be back

The service is friendly and relaxed and the decor is warm. We had the chicken tikka masala and cottage cheese curry that were just amazing. Me and my husband had a great time at this place.

Sitaaray is sucha good restaurant, a pleasure to dine in. The service staff is friendly, knowledgeable and experienced, the food is served in a different style to what you might expect, the unlimited kababs and curries is such a treat and definitely way above expectations ,the flavours are amazing, perfectly spiced and well balanced, The decor of the place is very unique and lively. We were 2 couples out for dinner and drinks & this place really made our evening . And for drinks we later went to this club iv heard a lot about Tamarai in the same buiding for a couple of drinks ..Thus a great evening , Sitaaray is worth a visit with great food , service and ambiance, totallyy worth it!

We've always enjoyed the food and the ambience of the restaurant but it turned completely sour for us when we made the monumentous mistake of not quoting their very special rate of £18 for the unlimited kebabs and curries menu and were charged £22.95, their usual rate qhich by the way is not advertised anywhere or even written on the menu. Apparently, not everyone is given this discounted rate – it doesn't matter that it is advertised at all places on various websites, because website advertising is nothing really. Called them 3 times, left a mesage for the manager to call back; did not hear back from them at all and called a fourth time with a very unhelpful, flustred manager on the other end refusing to entertain even the thought of returning back the extra £4.95 charged for a party of 5 people. Two more neagative:1) The waitress looked like death warmed obver and spoke as such - without opening her mouth more than one milimeter, the result that it was s tirring guessing game as to what was just spoken.2) Service charge of a whopping 15% is already addedto the bill despite it being advertised everywhere that it is optional - but ofcourse website advertising does not mean a promise. They would rather loose customers than provide what they advertised. Sadly none in our family and friends will go to Sitaaray again.

Guests are aware that if an offer is booked for then they must ask for the offer on arrival or when asking for the bill or even when paying. This party of 5 did not ask for the offer or book for the offer. They did not ask for discounted price at any time or even when they settled the bill. They called Sitaaray the next day asking for refund. We are unable to do this considering the guests had enough opportunities to ask for offer price. Secondly, we do not refund to prevent guests asking for discount only after they discover a discount offer after dining in hindsight.

Thank you

Please do not choose this restaurant for a special occasion. I went for my birthday at the weekend and had a very unpleasant experience.

We had booked the table for 9pm but were kept waiting a full hour before being seated. We asked to speak to the manager after the meal to ask if he would be willing to offer a discount for the long wait, but he seemed uninterested in providing any quality of service. We paid the bill in full but declined to leave the "recommended" 12.5% service charge. At this point the manager got aggressive and accused us of not paying in full for the meal - despite the service charge being "recommended" and not "mandatory".

We were told we would not be allowed entry to Tamarai (all diners to Sitaraay are given free entry) and would not have our parking validated (again, this is something they advertise on their website).

A female friend attempted to get her coat from the cloakroom but was physically pulled back into the restaurant by the manager who said she was not allowed to go to the cloakroom. A waitress was sent to get our coats for us, while the manager called the bouncers to escort us out - somewhat unnecessary for an unpaid (and undeserved) tip!

Please don't think we were being aggressive and rude and causing trouble - we were being reasonable and paid for everything apart from the service and explained this was due to waiting an hour for the table. Tellingly another table also had a similar experience and told the manager he could not treat customers the way he did - to which he arrogantly claimed it was the fault of the customers! One to avoid.

I would like to add to Reshma's review. I was in her party for dinner that night at Sitaaray and not only did the events described in her email take place but Sitaaray charged me for (a) the amount I had paid for at the restaurant and (b) a second amount that I did NOT authorise. This second amount must have been the service charge which they took from my account without my consent or authorisation. Having discussed this with friends it transpired that another friend of mine had a similar experience at Tamarai where his service charge was also deducted after the event by fraudulent means. Sitaaray and Tamarai are two restaurants to avoid and definitely do not pay by credit/debit card!!

This group of 18 people tried to walk out without paying their bill. This was the reason that they were not allowed free entry in Tamarai club from Sitaaray because they were behaving in an abusive, aggressive and threatening manner. They left without paying their bill in full.

They have posted many malicious 'reviews'.

Thank you

How can you not like Sitaaray?? - The restaurant is one of a kind, the dedicated bollywood cinema theme is absolutely fantastic! Totally original to other Indian restaurant and still very authentic! I love it! The service is friendly, the managers always make sure we are looked after! The food is simply tasty Indian food - fresh ingredients and generous portions of meat!

We had a very nice holiday luncheon. The food and service were very good and the noise level was moderate so that you could hold a table discussion without yelling.

Firstly, I wasn't told when calling to book that there would only be a £25(ish) pund per head all you can eat buffet and no a la carte menu on offer, but having booked a table for 15 we were left with no alternative.

However, we were only told this after our drinks orders were taken and then informed that anyone not wishing to take that option must leave before any food orders (or in this case the one food order possible) would be taken, leading to several of our party being mde to leave their drinks in order that the rest could get served.

We were not reimbursed for those drinks. After a bad start it only got worse, with the food of such a poor quality that we left after 3 rounds of starters.

I would recommend a very wide berth indeed, unless sub-standard food and rude service is your bag.

Their staff is also friendly, helped us order just the right food..! we were looked after very well. We want to thank them all and wish them luck.

Sitaaray had come highly recommended by an Indian friend so I thought I'd try it out with the wife. This is what Indian cuisine is really about. Well actually, this is what cuisine in general should be about.

I don't think I've ever had better value than the £18.00 buffet meal. I ate and ate until my stomach was ready to burst. I challenge you to resist greed - however full you are you wil keep trying to stuff it in. I could eat at Sitaaray every week. In fact, I might.
