Had a joint birthday party here a couple of months ago and I can't be more complimentary. We where looking for something hard to find, a karaoke bar with pool. We hired the private room at a discounted rate, had an area reserved next to the DJ and had the karaoke room- we had about 70 people show and the atmosphere was fab... food was great and drinks where ok priced. The venue worked well for us and we had a great time. The private room we hired we plugged in an ipod and played our own style of music all night and played pool... also the room is soundproof which is great if the DJ ins't to your taste! Overall 10/10

Started "upmarket" - now serves anything with a pulse

Beer is often dreadful and can make you unwell. Food I don`t know. Toilets really should be examined by environmental health as should the kitchen.

v v Expensive. "Management" bonus culture at play. Staff turnover high. Known locally for churning beer on match [fulham fc] days.

A disgrace to Capital Pubs frankly and a mockery of their vaunted valuesShame on them + Shame on H&F Council for letting them get away with this for so long

Shame on local consultative committee for not taking a continuing interest Place only popular due to location / handiness

Please please change ownership / management / designThis was a fantastic venue, important to locals [none of whom is "american"] - being abused by cynical.....

......If this location was properly run / designed and with decent beer it could go back to the well once loved place it was

New Managment started in October and beer was sorted out in 1 day!! Not a bad way to start their tenure. Gradual improvments since, and they no longer serve "anyone with a pulse". The usual suspects have been persuaded to frequent no longer and a much better clientle has been seeping back in.
Now open until 2am on a weekend - with live music and a dj on Fridays and Saturdays respectivally - both nights have a good atmosphere and a decent crowd.
Staff are friendly and seem to have a good time behind the bar - no new faces recently so turnover is lower and service much better then it had been.
All in all a vast improvment from a few months ago. Long may it continue.
