We had a dreadful experience here - wine we had to send back, steak not cooked as ordered, main that turned up before the starters, sides 5 minutes behind the mains, plates not cleared for about ten minutes. Our server was friendly, but obviously clueless and focussed on upselling the wine "a glass, no, you want a bottle" rather than actually giving us good service.
The food was ok - my lamb was delicious everything else decent - and the one good point about them being terrible initially is that they are obviously well practiced in apologies - we received a replacement glass of wine promptly and courteously and were given the wine free as an apology for the service after complaining. However I would rather have had everything right first time and so will not go back.

Having read some good reviews, I was looking forward to trying this restaurant. Unfortunately, I was disappointed.

The food was no more than average for the price, but the real down-side was the fact that the waiting staff were extremely slow (despite the fact the restaurant was not busy), disorganised and unfriendly.

We had to ask for attention at every stage of the meal (for the menu, for the plates to be cleared etc) and the coffee was served before the desserts arrived! Good, central location, but I would not recommend going out of your way to dine here.

A star for London. Great food and a simply beautiful dining room. Very good place for a romantic evening.
