I went to Star of Bombay with great hopes and left disappointed. The plastic covered menus and surly waiter were less then inviting. Admittedly, the large glass of wine was a nice surprise, but the requested glass of water never arrived. There are better choices in the area if you want quality Indian fare.

This is one of the local Indian restaurants which has been around for over 40 years.

Its just solid good value food in average surroundings when you dont want a place to impress.

The place to take the wife rather than the new girlfriend !

As long as you are not expecting the Ritz decor or service then you will not fail to enjoy your meal and will leave feeling you have had a good value meal.

Star of Bombay has yummy food, pleasant service and quick dish preparation. Chicken korma particularly nice and mild-creamy and coconutty.
