I went to this restaurant a few weeks ago and let me tell you I was extremely disappointed, although considering it's a chain I possibly have myself to blame for greater expectations. I was accompanied by two friends. The place was quite busy for a Tuesday night and we waited quite a while...when the food finally came the pasta was overcooked for even a non-Italian and the fish seemed past freshness. We were not the only ones suffering as one man close to us got up in frustration and declared he had waited too long for his food and would therefore be leaving. If only we had been so lucky.

I had read several mixed reviews for this restaurant and booked it as a bit of a punt, mainly as it was close to our hotel. It proved to be a good choice.
The weather outside was freezing and the night before we had endured luke warm food in a cold pub. We were relieved to find this restaurant to be warm and cozy, the food was all freshly cooked and piping hot. The staff were attentive and friendly. The location is only a few minutes walk from Covent Garden. The only down side (for anyone with restricted mobility) is the toilets are down some very steep narrow stairs.

Had a really nice evening at Strada a few weeks ago. The pizza was delicious (with a nice crispy base) and the staff friendly.

Will definitely return to Strada - although we had to wait a while for a non-smoking table, it was worth it!

Strada is a mediocre Italian in Covent Garden i.e. tourist central. The service was rushed, inpersonal and the food was nothing special.
In fact, the whole Strada experience was nothing special.
