One to avoid. We went in for cocktails and decided to stay for food - it was a mistake. The food is overpriced and poorly executed. The prawn starter was overcooked and tasteless and the fish special was covered in a sickly sweet sauce - awful. Staff were at their most attentive only when the bill came and the 12% service charge was queried.

Don't waste your time or money

I went to tamesa on New Year evening with my friend after reading a review by user that how great the restaurant it. I would recommend to everyone to spend your new year Eve diving into Thames river rather than going to tamesa, it would be more adventurous and entertaining. Staff didn’t plan anything at all and they brought starter, soup, dessert, one after another without asking then I had to stop them and wait for me to tell them that when we want main course. After 20-25 minutes they brought main course without asking and we had no option other than eating it. Please tamesa management spends some money on furniture because the furniture you have at the moment looks like canteen of a third class company. Starbucks or Costa at every corner of London has got much better furniture and pleasant environment to sit around and have nice chat. And you can’t see no fireworks from this restaurant its better to stay home and watch fireworks on TV. There is no such thing as dance floor and I was told on phone when I booked that they have got good dance floor its like dancing next to bar tender and making fun of yourself, I mean how could you dance within 5 feet space which is arranged by moving few chairs around .Anyways lot more to tell but all I can say I am really disappointed with this restaurant and will not recommend to any one...

We went to Tamesa@oxo on Sunday when the sun was actually shining and the rain had stopped, and the view was simply stunning. The kids felt very happy there as the atmosphere is not pretentious or stuffy like some good London restaurants.

I very much enjoyed the food and thought the prices were very reasonable. Tamesa@oxo is a great place to spend time in at the weekend. Very relaxed!
