BE AWARE!! I went to EV last night and they added a mandatory service charge! We didn't want to pay all of it as the service was pretty poor, the managed spent about 5 minutes arguing with us. So dont go unless you are prepare to pay 12.5% for poor service! This service change applies to ALL Tas restaurants!

I couldn't disagree more with the below. I have eaten at Tas Restaurant both in a large group and as a couple, and I can honestly say I have no complaints with either the food or the service. The food is simply amazing, and the service is always attentive but not over-pushy.

I love that the kitchen areas are open, as it gives me confidence that the food is well-prepared. I recommend that you try Tas Restaurant, as I've had some wonderful evenings there.

We were kept waiting for about 40 minutes before our starters were served at Tas Restaurant, with no apology for the delay. We were then joined by the remainder of our party, who were then served with their main course almost immediately. We had to wait for at least another hour, without our main course and, only when we complained, were we informed that it was ready.

By this time, our guests had almost finished their meal, so we declined ours. Don't go there to Tas Restaurant - the food's not that good and it's definitely understaffed, or staffed with inexperienced waiting staff. It ruined our evening completely.

Tas Restaurant is a nice restaurant with friendly staff and a brilliant menu which gives you a lovely selection of Mediteranean and Turkish dishes. There is an option of having a full meal from one of their four set menus, which is a nice option to those unfamiliar with these dishes. All meals were served promptly and correctly at Tas Restaurant.

My only complaint is the waitress we had almost took the wrong order from us. We relied on our instincts to correct her before she made the mistake. It was the only thing that let us down, and possibly let the restaurant down with other customers.

Went to Tas restaurant a couple of weeks ago and had a really lovely evening. The food was amazing and the menu hugely varied (lots of vegetarian choices).

I can't fault the service either - we were treated wonderfully and given complimentary warm bread and olives. Tas restaurant is a lovely place that I can't recommend highly enough.
