Taste of London
Hotly anticipated London restaurant event Taste of London 2011 brings together a selection of world famous London restaurants in an unique outdoors food and drink festival, showcasing cuisine from some of the country’s best chefs. In conjunction with Channel 4 and in partnership with British Airways, the Taste of London festival enables visitors to sample gourmet cooking in Regents Park over four mouthwatering days in June. Tasty stuff.

World class cuisine
Plenty of famous London restaurants will be participating in the food festival at Regents Park this year, serving up a selection of dishes for visitors to sample and enjoy, making Taste of London 2011 a food event that no self respecting London foodie would dream of missing. When it comes to London restaurant events, Taste of London certainly wins hands down. Cooking from across the globe will feature at the food festival in Regents Park as the flagship event of the national Taste Festivals returns to London in 2011.

Celebrity chefs from London restaurants
A line up of renowned chefs are represented at the 2011 festival. Chefs from well known restaurants and TV shows that are gracing Regents Park include Michel Roux Jr, Chris Galvin, Pascal Aussignac, Alex Chow, Sean Burbidge, Martin Blunos and Alfred Prasad. The 2011 London restaurants set to make your mouth water include L'Anima, Gaucho, Benares, Corrigan's Mayfair, The Ritz, Petrus, Maze, L'Etranger and Fouronine, perfect for hungry restaurant hunters out for lunch.

Sample some of the best
With a whole host of restaurants here in miniature, visitors to this fantastic London restaurant event can sample signature dishes from some of the most exclusive London restaurants, freshly cooked at mini kitchens on site and served up at a fraction of the price you would pay for the full sized dish at their restaurants.

Try something new
In addition to world class London restaurants and gourmet cooking, a range of speciality foods and ingredients will be available to buy at the food festival. Expert chefs will be on hand to explain their creations and answer any questions, whilst workshops and interactive demonstrations give you the chance to have a go on the day and make it a London restaurant event with an added interactive element.

Have a drink
If you work up a thirst sampling all that food and roaming Regents Park, special drink academies will also be open throughout the festival. Visit the Taste Wine experience or a champagne masterclass for a refreshing sip before heading back to the kitchens for more food.

Spend a Crown or two
The official currency of the festival is the Crown, each of which is worth 50p. Crowns can be bought in advance with your ticket or obtained at the food festival and signature dish prices average around nine Crowns. So pack your appetite and get spending!

The Secret Garden
Fans of gourmet cuisine will be in seventh heaven at the special Secret Garden area of the 2011 festival. The exclusive zone is hosting Q&A sessions with leading chefs, and there's also canapes and champagne to sample and a VIP bar and lounge.

The 2011 festival takes place at Regents Park from Thursday 16th June - Sunday 19th June 2011.

Tickets for the London restaurant event cost £22.00 - £85.00. To purchase tickets for this event, click on the Buy Tickets button.
