I think the high spots are the soups - the Tom Kai Ga is the best I've ever tasted. Also, the prawn won-ton is terrific if you don't want soup. Personally I find that Thai salads are too hot for me, but the green curry is a favourite.
Apart from Thai and Chinese customers, the Tiwana has a clutch of regulars: a retired academic, a Japanese pianist, a record producer and quite a few local business people. The service is friendly and the prices modest for what is definitely a good restaurant of its type.
