My husband & I have eaten at this restaurant MANY times, however, when we dined in there on Monday evening, we were EXTREMELY disappointed how the qulaity of the food has gone down hill - very thin burger, 1 mushroom cut in half in the mushroom & cheese burger & minimal sauce in the chilli burger - diners on the table next to us were also complaing about the chilli they had - such a shame as this used to be one of our faves but sadly, we won't be eating here again - I really didn't want to leave any stars but looks like the minimum you have to leave is one :-(
I love this place. It is ideal for lunch and perfect for a bite to eat after work with a margarita to help melt the day away.
The food is freshly prepared and biger for the portion size, very tasty, the staff are friendly and the music and general atmosphere are great. The best burrito I've tasted in London and the drinks are very reasonably priced and they do the best cocktails in town.
I would definitely recommend to anyone especially for large parties as entertainment was really good. ......... :)
As I have recently discovered TEX-MEX my experience has been very enjoyable. The food is excellent as well as the warm welcome I got from the staff from the moment I sat down till the moment I left, i usually go there during lunch hours and after work ordering their amazing burgers and their side dishes such as chips etc, the food taste amazing, I also enjoy the quick service I receive at the bar. I would highly recommend it to others for every occasion or mood you might happen to fall into.

There is a lot of Hating as my 15 year old would say on this web-page about Tex-Mex. I thought it was a lovely restaurant i had a beef burger and that was very filling. I had a great lunch there and i would recommend it.
My Tex-Mex Experience was very pleasant the staff was very welcoming and polite. I had fast service and i recommend the steak it was cooked Beautifully. The cocktail was very refreshing i had a Infinity J.........I am going back in July to have a cocktail with my girlie's.
Food truly scrummy fresh & full of flavour, cocktails perfect, atmosphere fun yet professional, staff friendly and very keen to help expecially the Manager!! Very nice place. Can't wait to go again.
Actually..this restaurant is not as bad as everyone is making it out to be. I eat at both the Fulham branch and the Notting Hill branch on a regular basis. I have also recommended it to a few friends who have also enjoyed their experience and most of my colleagues who also work in Fulham. The portions are worth the value paid as well as the taste of the food. I have not tried the italian menu so can not comment but the mexian is tasty. Staff are V. friendly and have been on all visits. I have never had any problems dining at Tex-Mex and will continue to do so. Food never takes too long to arrive and we are always asked for drinks at soon as we sit down. Its always worth trying!! :)
Not recommended! One of the nastiest restaurants I've had the misfortune to eat in for many years. Poorly prepared food, cocktails made - read poured from prepared mixes - by someone who has about as much knowledge of drinks preparation as a gnat - ice cubes in your margarita? Staff who were so disorganised they fell over each other - blamed on a new member of staff, who as a trainee had got it wrong. Judging from the lack of punters on a Saturday evening, many people are now starting to get the message. The sad thing is that given the passing trade from tube passengers, shoppers and cinema-goers a decent place to eat in Fulham Broadway would thrive. Tex Mex Experience and its rather strange Italian cousin next door are not those and should be put down like any terminal case. The only highlight to a rather miserable experience was a waiter and waitress having fisticuffs outside the restaurant.
What is astonishing to me is how this place is surviving in Fulham broadway! Had a very very unpleasant experience at this place. Surly waiters who couldn't get to grips with our order. The manager was incompetent and one of the rudest people I ever met. Utterly disgusting food... Feel rather ill! Such a sloppy service. Does anybody know who owns TexMex? This review should not even have one star! Do NOT go to TexMex!
There's only one star rating here because you can't select none.
Awful awful awful. Horrendous food - burger meat was cheap and tasteless, cheese rubbery and flavourless, stale burger buns and the Heinz ketchup was NOT Heinz and was utterly revolting.
When we tried to leave having actually PAID cash for our drinks and the one pizza that was eaten but refusing to pay for the uneaten inedible burgers, the manager held us hostage claiming "it's my property and I'm not letting you leave" and we had to shout for police. We weren't allowed to leave until the security guard told the idiotic rude and frankly stupid manager that he could not hold us which was, in any event, a criminal offence.
Never such a horrendous experience in any restaurant ever. If you care about yourselves at all, stay at home.
Yuk disgusting and poor value for money! Nasty food, rude incompetent staff. Including the manager. Warning never ever ever go to Tex Mex Experience!
Worst meal I've paid for in a long time. I could have bought a far better (and far warmer) burrito from the sainsburys downstairs. It also came with what was unmistakeably uncle bens microwave mexican rice.
Awful! I actually feel sick after eating my take away quesadilla and biting into a huge lump of gristle. What I don't understand if that I paid £1.25 extra to have chicken - but what would they have served me if I hadn't paid for the chicken - as it was only chicken inside - a measly amount of cheese, no onions, beans, rice - nothing. Truely awful and very expensive (£6! For basically a pitta filled with cheap, stringy chicken and a salad that you could fit in an egg cup) avoid!
